How to take the AVTpro Subtitle Translation Certification exam
The AVTpro Subtitle Translation Certification exam is only available to those who have already passed the AVTpro Subtitling Basics exam.
There is only one task in the AVTpro Subtitle Translation Certification exam, which consists of translating 3-4 short scenes from English into your target language, using a template file with pre-timed subtitles in English.
We strongly recommend that you familiarize yourself with the Style Guide of your working language before sitting the exam. You can download it by clicking on the ‘Style guide’ button above.
When you sign up for the certification, you will be provided with a unique link that you will need to use to take the exam.
You will be sent a report with your performance and your certification, if applicable, within one month from the last day of the exam period for which you registered.
