Continuous AVTpro exam periods

The AVTpro exam periods are changing due to popular demand!

In response to user feedback and the fluctuating demands of language service providers, the AVTpro exam periods are undergoing a significant change. Moving forward, candidates will have the flexibility to register for and sit for any AVTpro exam at their convenience without being constrained by specific exam dates.

This means that upon successful completion of the AVTpro Subtitling Basics exam, candidates will immediately gain access to take the AVTpro Subtitle Translation or the AVTpro Subtitle Creation exam, for all available language pairs, at a date of their choosing. There will no longer be a requirement to wait for a designated exam period to open.

This adjustment in exam scheduling is made to accommodate the dynamic needs of both candidates and language service providers. By offering continuous exam availability, AVTpro aims to facilitate faster onboarding of new translators in various language combinations, enabling language service providers to best cater to their customers’ requests and expand their talent pool as needed throughout the year.
